Today was my first...
high school swim meet of the year.
Okay, let's see. This meet was against Arroyo. So pretty much, I guess it was okay all around. Their team wasn't really fast- they just had a few that were at least 3 times faster than the others. xD
My swim coach, Leslie, or "Coach C," signs everyone up for something they have never tried before, such as the 500 free.
But lucky me, I didn't have to swim that today.
Instead, she made me swim the 100 FLY. And 100 FLY= HELL. OMG.
So these are the events I swam today:
~200 Medley Relay, I swam the 50 free.
~200 IM. Grossssssss.
~100 FLY- IF SHE EVER MAKES ME SWIM THIS AGAIN I'M GONNA CRY.
~400 Freestyle Relay- My team wasn't very good, but I was the anchor. Which meant that I had to go last. And the anchor is usually the fastest out of the four, but I had no confidence to swim 100 freestyle at all. Instead, I was just disappointed with what my outcomes were for the 200 IM and 100 Fly.
...Whatever, I guess. It was the first high school meet I've EVER gone to. And I'm still a freshman. [ The freshman swimmers this year are super duper fast!! WHOOHOO we're totally gonna take over the team, ahaha ]
