It's only the third week of school and the workload is already starting to increase. Heavily. ;___; I wonder how I'm gonna survive this year.
9/11.
This event led to grief, sorrow, and heartache pains that penetrated everyone's lives. Although I was still in the 4th grade, I had just began getting used to San Francisco and the neighborhood I was living in. All I remember is that one morning before school, my dad had the TV on and I saw smoke that hovered over great, destructed buildings. Since I hadn't known anything back then, I didn't think it was anything important, and that it was an "everyday thing." So I walked to school like an ordinary day...but when I arrived, I soon found out how important the crash of the World Trade Center was, because we talked about it for the entire school day.
But that was FIVE years ago. Five years...fourth grade. FOURTH GRADE. Back then, I was a child who knew of nothing. Absolutely nothing. Looking back, I can now remind myself of how these news events can make the entire world change.
Because of 9/11.
