Question is... are you convinced? And when, exactly, do you think "older" comes along?
Am I convinced? No. Problem is.. I don't know what to do about it. Write? Tell others? It seems so insignificant.
Which leads back to the point of being "older." By observation, it's when people start driving (or ::cough:: drinking). They're considered "mature." Usually "mature" means they've become boring and talk with the adults all the time. Another thing is if they've accomplished something great. Like they have been taking dance classes their whole life and they finally give a grand performance. Something for people to compare YOU to.
People often have misconceptions of others' abilities. I mean, if we had the time to step in and learn a thing or two about politics, us teenagers could probably be more influential. We wouldn't have to wait until someone who knew more about the world offered to teach us. (Luckily, I have this writing community with many smart people. :P)

(O_o Is it just me, or is my calendar showing up out of the green box it's supposed to be in? D: I really want to redesign my weblog. Yes, again. >_>)

Janvi, you're already doing the right thing!
By writing on your weblog, you're providing an example for your peers, of what it means to speak out.
We will know the consequences much later—among your peers and your youth community, and in society at large—but I definitely think you're on the right path. Keep it up! Society needs thoughtful people like you.
If what I fear is at hand, then society will need thoughtful AND courageous young people.
(p.s.: yes, your calendar and navlist are almost completely outside of the green box.)
