»Of Mirrors, Mentos, Mice, Men.. and More Mud

August 18, 2006

You're probably wondering why I haven't been updating for all these days. Well.. nothing much has been happening. XD I know, lame excuse. But I'm pretty much just lazing around and being annoyed by my cousins. Bribing them with Mentos. >:D

Meh, and there's MICE in the apartment. D: They run out from cupboards and cracks in the wall. x__X It's so creepy. But what's funny is that the rat traps here are these HUGE wooden things. I mean, I could get my foot stuck in one of those.

Of all the things we've done and places we've visited in India on this trip, my favorite was the Law Garden. It's not a garden, actually, but a series of street shops that open after 5 PM every day. The locals sell their handicrafts there. Thought mirrors were only on walls? Think again. Traditional Indian clothing is COVERED with tiny mirrors sewed on. >.O Sometimes there's so many that you can literally see your reflection. Anyways, at the Law Garden, my mom and I bought a lot of cheap stuff [well, we had to bargain first. ;D]. I got some bangles [Indian bracelets], keychains, earrings, and other small things. xD Basically for anyone who wants them. ;P

But for now, I just can't wait to get home.
