Update
Mood: 3/5 stars. better than my 2/5 at the beginning of the visual arts meeting.
Today: The visual arts meeting, I guess. The rest of my day was pretty crappy.
The art program is off to a slow start, but today was noticeably more productive, I would say. We went to the gallery downstairs to spend about 35 minutes contemplating and sketching one of the pieces, based on a sheet of questions.
Afterwards, we came back up to the studio to take a second pass at printmaking. mmph.
Chemistry is eating up my homework time -__- I’m all for passing finals, but we do NOT need 30 6-in-1 questions on the subject of counting atoms.
Feeling marginally more depressed than I did during winter break. On the other hand, I’ve come to the conclusion that the estate map doesn’t like me, and I play better with a change of scenery. Also I’ve been playing on low graphics this whole time ._.”
Most of the pianists in Jazz Lab don’t even have music yet. And Jamie’s making me take the piece with the piano improv solo because I’m the only other pianist who takes jazz piano lessons.
sigh.
