Mood: AHHH LAST-MINUTE-HOMEWORK PANIC
Today: callback interview
A couple months ago, Connie and I applied for an art program. On Friday, I got a callback saying that they wanted to see me for an interview today, which gave me a day and a half to throw together a portfolio. I found drawings I did for ATDP Introduction to Drawing and Design two years ago, some old art project I kept, pen drawings, some sketches and colored designs, and I also printed out the banners I made for TIC and the horse I colored for my iSearch website. I spent about an hour yesterday ripping apart the house to look for my 8th grade mandala, but I ended up not finding it. Ms. Skrivan may still have it for all I know.
The interview itself was much less formal than I’d been preparing for, with 4 jurors instead of 5. Now I think of some stuff I wish I’d thought to say, but all in all I think I did my best on that interview. It’s the first time I’ve ever been called back for one. A positive experience for next time. :P
The flute recital was also today. I ended up messing up quite badly to the point where I was making some up to get back on track. Meh.
I think I’ve given up on getting anywhere with flute =/. I sort of stopped practicing at all when I decided I wanted to be in Jazz Lab instead of Symphonic Band. I miss middle school music.
I also have to buy CS. Timothy’s going to take back his account soon.
