404
Dominating alliance of the top left corner of Classic Server 3’s first quadrant.
Mood: …:]
Today: binge slept for 13 hours
The mighty 404, once ranked 76 in the entire server with less than 20 members. For a while, all we talked about in pchat was Travian. We were some of the most active players in the server.
Our rank dropped, little by little. Chungster, one of our highest ranked members, decided to quit Travian for the sake of his schoolwork, and deleted. Some of our players, who never really got into Travian or quit early on, were booted. Our remaining players, numbering 11, maintained a rank of 86 among much larger alliances.
There was discussion of quitting Travian, en mass. A civil war - the mighty 404 would go out in style. The idea never came to life. One by one, members began to quit without waiting for the civil war. Quad quit. Max left, formed 403 Forbidden, and deleted. CFD sent invites to all or many of 404’s members, most of whom accepted and joined the ranks of ChaosFactors. Now we’ve fallen to rank 128. With seven members left, we hold a rank meant for alliances twice our size, where once we held a place meant for alliances three times our size.
I told Draven I would have to get back to him on that CFD invite. I started Travian because of 404, where my alliance consisted of people I know and trust. I would no sooner have left 404 than…well. I simply would never have left 404.
It looks as if 404 is fading. How many of those left are going to quit or join CFD? And which do I choose? After all the work that’s gone into my four villages, I consider deleting them with a twinge of regret. But there’s no reason for me to play without 404. CFD claims to have an external forum - but no external forum can match pchat.
Decisions, decisions.

Alina! You and I should just stay in 404, and let’s see how high up our “alliance” can get, with just us two members.
