On Saturday I found out...

…that I had two cousins in Australia :O!

Mood: Sleepy, content
Event of the Day: Described below…

Anyways, today after piano lessons, we drove down to the bay. My mom’s cousin’s family was moving from Australia to Shanghai, but for some reason they stopped in California for a while. They or somebody they knew was having a party on a boat, and it turns out that they have two sons…

…which means that they’re our second cousins.

The older one was named Jo (Joe? I dunno, for some reason I think it’s Jo). I think he’s 18, maybe 17. In any case he graduated from high school in Australia, and is going to university in Shanghai. Well, I think. I’m really not too sure.

The younger one is a year older than me and a year younger than Tansen, named Chris. He’s really into video games and computers too.

Anyways, they’re pretty awesome. They’re a social family, so there wasn’t much awkwardness. I think. Once again, I didn’t know they existed until…what, yesterday? And it only registered that they were cousins when we were introduced.

It was a lot of fun. The shipyard is a little cold, but a peaceful and quiet place to watch seagulls bashing mussels open on the ground. Tansen and I walked around for a while, kicking the shells into the water.

We played some chess and chinese checkers with two other siblings. Well, Jo stayed upstairs by himself for a while…Chris said he wasn’t too happy about leaving Australia. But he did eventually come down to watch the chess game.

Yea, they’re cool. They invited us to go sailing, but we had homework…sdfkhsdjklfsd…It’s too bad they’re moving to Shanghai. =/

Lol I love their accents. Jo’s is a lot stronger than Chris’s. :]
