Hm. Another intriguing Kasstitle. ;-) This, apparently, has got to do with some obscure feature in Flash, which we are experimenting with today, along with Photoshop. It's going to be a graphics-intensive day, obviously. Certainly, a key part of designing your own website from scratch is designing your own graphics as well; or at least tweaking scans or downloaded graphics, to give them your own stamp of creativity.

Your course TAs are experts, or semi-experts, at Photoshop and Flash and you should definitely exploit them for all they're worth, by asking them questions and probing them for graphics tips and tricks. Many of you probably are experienced to some degree with image-editing programs, but certainly you can learn a lot more, as programs such as Photoshop are deep and full expertise in them takes years to acquire.

Journal/weblog question:
A. What was the last book you read? What was it about? Did you read it for school or was it for your own pleasure and/or interest?

B. What sports do you play, and why do you play them? Is athletic activity important to you? Why or why not?
