You might be wondering why the strange, odd titles you've seen on this course website. *chuckle* Well, I'm only partially to blame, young ladies and gentlemen. For this go-round I've appointed one of your TAs (Kass) to come up with titles for each day's schedule and notes. The way she does it is peculiar, though. When I go online and see her, she notes what's playing on her MP3 list, and uses the song at that moment to suggest a title. O_o Peculiar, but eerily effective. Ask her about "Eyecandy." I have no idea who sings or plays that piece of music.

Journal Question
- Part 1
(Read this essay from Tom Fletcher at TIC, for background)
Do you consider yourself an artist? Do you paint? Draw? Dance? Sing? Sculpt? Write poetry, or short stories? Can a well-designed website be a piece of art? Or should websites be about 'just information' and art doesn't really play a part in it? Think about this, responding thoughtfully on your weblog.

- Part 2
Write a paragraph or two about the topic or subject of your individual website project. Who is your target audience? What structural and layout elements are you planning on using?

Mapping out website projects
- Make an outline of the structure of your site--draw this literally, on paper. A typical drawing outline includes a main page with sub-pages one level down, and sub-sub-pages two or more levels down. Your site doesn't have to be very complicated -- just well-organized and well thought-out. Be ready to discuss your site plan with a TA later in the day.

Tables Review (choose one):
- 1. Create art using tables (example: Chris Ashley's blogart--march, april, may)
- 2. Create a calendar using tables (not like the one in the upper right corner of this page; large calendars like those ones where you write down important dates).
- 3. Create a survey of at least 4 questions and survey your classmates. Organize your results in a table.
