Giddy-up Horsey!
Horseback-riding

One of the best ways to experience Upcountry Maui is on horseback. The green pastures and sweeping vistas will remind you of range land in Wyoming. (Maui Island Highlights site)

Ride A Horse To A Waterfall
Approximately nine miles beyond Hana at Haleakala National Park's Kipahulu District, "O Heo' Stables" offers their guests a double bonus. Besides great horses, the guest will be traveling through the National Park enjoying panoramic views of the coastline and ocean while making their way up to the Pipiwai Lookout where they dismount, kick back and take photographs of the breathtaking view of one of Maui's most beautiful waterfalls, Waimoku Falls, which feeds the legendary Seven Pools. The National Park rangers don't like the name "Seven Pools". They refer to this area as "O Heo' Gulch", which translates into "a gathering of pools". (101 Things to Do on Maui)
